Kingskerswell & Ipplepen Health Centres are open from 8.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, except on Thursdays when they both close between 1.00pm and 3.00pm to undertake medical training and quality audit work. NEW SERVICES: We have introduced evening GP appointments between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for working people who have difficulty getting time off during the week. Patients can also arrange to have access to book appointments or order repeat prescriptions any time of day or night via the internet see appointments or go to the "our services" page. If you want to register for access to internet appointments please send us an email request to kkipp.enquiries@nhs.net

Outside Surgery Hours

For NHS medical support outside our normal surgery hours, please call the Devon Doctors On Call Service: 0845 6710 270. Devon Doctors will take messages about urgent medical problems and relay them to GPs in cars and at the Newton Abbot Hospital Treatment Centre. The service operates between 6.00pm and 8.30am Monday to Friday, Thursdays between 1.00pm and 3.00pm, Saturdays and Sundays and during public holidays.

Emergency Situations

If a serious accident or medical emergency occurs such as, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, suspected heart attack, deep wound, haemorrhage, collapse serious fall, heavy blood loss, suspected broken bones. Ring 999 for an ambulance or if appropriate, transport the patient direct to casualty at NHS Torbay Hospital
